Australia's Biggest Climbing Center

Day six. December 18, 2009.
Sydney Indoor Climbing Gym at St Peters in NSW.

G'day Beverly. Off the plane and in the climbing gym.

Aaron holds his breath for his next move.

Duc napping in this position.

Caroline finding her feet.

After the gym, we met up with several of Duc's friends and his sister, Thuy, for drinks at the Sydney Opera Bar. Drink for the night: Vodka + lime & soda. Tastes like lemonade. Aaron and I went gallivanting through the outskirts of the Botanical Garden. We were mere meters away from fruit bats, while others claimed to have spotted a bilby.

In competition with the Easter Bunny, the Easter Bilby brings Easter eggs in Australia.

Mistaken for its fourth cousin twice removed, in reality they found the cat-sized ring-tailed possum.

After the Opera Bar we trekked through the urban city for something beyond comparable to a Hungry Man meal. We came across beautiful and intriguing sights.

Christmas in the plaza.

Rex, one of the world's biggest crocodiles at around 5m long and 700kg, is imported to his new Kakadu-themed home, at Sydney Wildlife World.

The Godfather, Southern Italian cuisine.

Gamey medium-rare kangaroo meat sauteed in a red wine sauce.

Seating for twelve at Criniti's in Darling Harbour.
