Kings Cross

Day eleven. Kings Cross & the Suburbs Beyond.

The night before I bruised my ankle from
doing something stupid at the bouldering gym. I passed on hiking in the Blue Mountains with the rest of the folks, but I spent quality time with Duc and his charming sister, Thuy. She guided me through the city's red-light district. Beyond Darlinghurst Road, we strolled along the neighborhood of Rushcutters Bay that hugged the waterfront.

Where there is a gas station, there is ice cream.

Welcome to The Cross.

Upscale flats in Rushcutters Bay.

Sailing mecca along the waterfront.

His & her cyclos.

The day continued on at the home of Thuy and her husband, Ewan. We played with their new family member and eight-week old boxer, Roscoe. And he attempted to play bocce ball with us. Pictures from dinner are not available for view, but it was quite enticing to the palate. Lamb, mango salad, mashed potatoes, and an array of dessert from Adriano Zumbo.

Located on Darling Street in Balmain, NSW.
