Rendevous in Sydney, NSW

Day three. Rockclimbing at Nowra.

Late start on the road to Nowra. Approximately two hour drive. Almost everyone had the chance to drive on the left side of the road. Some adjusted well behind the wheel, while others needed to practice a bit more on Duc's off-road simulation game at home. Stopped by a national park on our way to climb outdoors. Inhabitants included wombats, lyrebirds, and platypus. I spied a handful of lyrebirds though they were not as approachable and vocal as I had envisioned. View the waterfall below.

Lyrebird or Weringerong most notable for their mimicking ability.

Rolling six deep in a Toyota minivan.

Hiking down in order to climb up.

Scouting for rocks on private property.

Rock needs to move here for better feng shui.

Measuring the popular route at the Descent Gully Walls.

Scaling the 15m Samurai Pizza Catz (18).

Figure eights and fishermen knots.

Leading the 15m Woderwick (17).

Nowra at her finest. A mob of kangaroos leaped past this area.

Duc packing away his precious.

Day four. Destination from Congee Beach to Bondi Beach.

Note to self: Wear comfortable shoes and lather yourself from head to toe with sunscreen (minimum SPF 35). The walk was roughly 3km with sand, stairs, and really good looking people from Congee to Bondi.

People sunbathe in their swimsuit and birthday suit.

Puddle of blood.

Do not climb this rock.

And they lived happily ever after.

Aaron and I bring out the artillery.

Tugboats.

Chicago remains the defending champion.

Dead or alive -- best beachfront property.

You can wear a Santa hat for any occasion.

Bouldering on the beach.

Aaron grades new route as V2.

Get your climb on.

Aaron campused the route. Twice.

We finally reached Bondi Beach with an hour or so to frolic in the semi-cold Pacific Ocean. Dmitri, Aaron, and I body surfed the waves, while the rest remained dry next to the orange flag. On the way out to scavenge for dinner, an attractive beach blonde-haired surfer caught my eye. Le sigh.

The true vegetarian pizza at Bondi Pizza with shoe-string fries and potato wedges.
